Jan Victor Armas Lindblad (1932 - 1987) was a Swedish naturalist, writer, photographer, film maker, and whistling artist who imitated animals.

Lindblad was born in Örebro, Sweden in 1932. Lindblad was known for his wildlife films. Lindblad was also an activist who fought against keeping wild animals in small cages; and known for his project of keeping two Bengal tiger cubs, named Lillan and Rani, in his Swedish residence.[4]
Lindblad was a known diabetic but died suddenly in Stockholm of kidney failure related to a lingering tropical fever he had contracted in Sri Lanka.

 John Paul II's 80th birthday. Joint issue with Vatican City. According to Slania, he made separate plates for both countries, because they are printed from different printing presses.  The Vatican issues are printed by Swedish Post and Poland by Polish Post. Both issues have slight differences- Johannes Paulus II. Stamp has a less deep engraving than the Vatican city.
- Our Lady of Czestochowa. Stamps is more contrasted than the monochrome Vatican issue.
- Pastoral Staff. Stamp has a criss-crossed background, while it is diagonal in Vatican issue.

2003 St. George slaying the Dragon. The stamp was issued to honour the 17th century of his death, and presented in sheets of 10 stamps. Printed by Post Sweden. The emblem in the lower left corner of the stamp is that of the 25th anniversary of the Pontificate of Pope John Paul II.
